Mckayla Braden, senior adviser for public affairs at the Public Debt of U.S. Treasury Department says the same argument, adding that even the titles that reach circulating valor, “This kind of scam is going on for years.” The U.S. Treasury does not issue bonds in the physically for the past twenty years, however, are savings bonds issued in paper form.  

At this point, new theories are emerging and bind to each other gigantic swindle by 1 billion dollars orchestrated by the Sicilian Mafia with the help of some corrupt officials of the Venezuelan central bank, securities probably used to open credit lines with banks, which led to the arrest of twenty persons in four different countries. The Venezuelan Central Bank, meanwhile, rejects any accusation of complicity.  

The picture is enhanced with the official statements, but especially those with non-official, disclosed by the Guardia di Finanza, which cast a further aura of mystery about the case: unofficially, loophole not to involve the Corps official, commander of the GdF Como col. Mecarelli merely to assert that the GdF expects “my fellow Americans, who have to report on the bond to determine the authenticity or falsity.” Immediately, after the seizure, the GdF had stated that, where it had been counterfeit, fakes were virtually indistinguishable from genuine licenses.  

At this point, it comes in the behavior of GdF, if the agents had been evidence to suggest title counterfeit (even for a lower value) would have had to stop the two from Japan, following the regular procedure. Otherwise, the Journal of GdF would have had to be indicted himself. The release of the two Japanese may not have had, therefore, a place without the GdF had reached the conviction that the titles were genuine.
